Titles: Mo and Hair on holiday in Scotland and Mo and Hair back in the Dales (Mixed media).
I had so much fun painting these while on holiday in the Yorkshire Dales. I had become fascinated by the black faced sheep ,they looked so sad yet inquisitive. To the surprise of my friend I started collecting the strands of wool from the fences and hedges. The background colours are inspired by a much loved jumper I sadly ruined in the wash! I experimented with heather and grasses mixed with Gesso to obtain the texture and used the wool for the sheep ! – Diane King.
